2021 Charity Partner: Sense, Complex Disabilities Charity
Kang & Co Solicitors are pleased to announced that our 2021 charity partner will be the brilliant Sense, a charity that aims to improve the lives of people with complex sensory disabilities like deafness, blindness and deafblindess.
We have been totally blown away by the absolutely brilliant work that is being done by Sense. Their work offers support to people with complex disabilities in whatever way they can, whether its through general life help, education, helping with employment, providing holidays/short breaks or by helping families of people with complex disabilities. Their vision is to create a world where no one with complex disabilities feels isolated, left out or unable to fulfil their potential.
Manjinder Singh Kang, director of Kang & Co Solicitors commented;
“It is truly an honour to be giving our support in 2021 to such a wonderful organsation as Sense. At Kang & Co we are enthusistic about supporting important causes that help the community. Whatever their disability, no person should feel left behind. Everyone should be given the best chance to fulfil a happy and successful life. Sense understand this and the work they are doing to help people is absolutely terrific. We look forward to supporting Sense this year.”
Kang & Co Solicitors passionately believe in Corporate Social Responsibility (CPS), helping out our communities the best way we can. Over the last few years, Kang & Co Solicitors have been committed to supporting a different charity each year. In recent years we have supported Birmingham Dog’s Home, Acorns Children’s Hospice and World Against Single Use Plastic and have raised thousands of pounds for the causes in the process. We hope to be able to support Sense in the same way over the year ahead.
About Sense
For everyone living with complex disabilities. For everyone who is deafblind. Sense is here to help people communicate and experience the world. We believe that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential.
We believe that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential.
Our experts offer personalised support through our centres, holidays and short breaks, or in people’s own homes. We are here for everyone who needs us, for as long as they need us – providing early intervention for children, helping young people access education, and supporting the transition into adulthood and beyond.
In addition to practical support, we also offer information to families, and campaign for the rights of people with complex disabilities to take part in life.
