Criminal Solicitor – Birmingham City Centre
- 2 Years PQE Minimum
Kang & Co Solicitors, based at 1 Victoria Square in Birmingham are recruiting for a criminal solicitor with experience of motoring offences. The firm has a large amount of high-quality work and they now require someone to take on matters involving motoring prosecutions and privately funded criminal cases.
We are a law firm specialising in motoring offences, private criminal defence and regulatory law. The firm does not take on any legally aided cases and prides itself on delivering high-quality representation to clients facing criminal proceedings in all criminal courts ranging from simple motoring prosecutions to complex regulatory prosecutions.
The role is based in Birmingham City Centre but there will be requirements to travel as and when the company requires due to the nature of the position.
The role is predominantly 9-5 with no out of hours police station cover required and offers a competitive salary. The position would ideally suit a criminal solicitor looking to move away from legally aided work and looking to focus on representing motorists and private paying clients.
The successful applicant will be experienced in a range of Magistrates’ Court cases and able to handle a busy caseload. To fit into the team, the successful candidate must be hardworking, willing to work as part of a team and possess excellent people skills.
All levels of experience will be considered.

We have no paralegal positions available at this time and do not intend to hire paralegals in the near future.
