Avoid a Driving Ban in Cannock
If you have been charged with a motoring offence, you should firstly contact one of our specialist solicitors to establish whether you need legal representation for your case. In certain circumstances you may not require representation, if our lawyers form the opinion that you do not require a lawyer for your driving offence, they will inform you from the outset.
If you have a defence, our lawyers will inform you and will recommend that you plead not guilty. We would prepare your case for Trial and provide you with the best chance of being found Not Guilty.
In other circumstances, you may require a solicitor to represent you at Court for your Sentence Hearing to ‘Mitigate’ on your behalf. This is so that you receive the lowest sentence possible. Our lawyers frequently represent clients before Cannock Magistrates’ Court. They have many years’ experience in convincing the Court to take into consideration personal mitigation, which can result in avoiding a Driving Ban.
If you already have 6 to 9 penalty points endorsed upon your driving licence and you are facing additional points for a further driving offence, our lawyers can be instructed to make a Special Reasons Argument or an Exceptional Hardship Argument in an attempt to avoid a Driving Ban.

Funding A Driving Offence Case
Public Funding (Legal Aid) is not available for most Driving Offences, therefore, in most circumstances motoring crimes are funded on a private fee-paying basis. We have the best legal practioners who can be instructed on an hourly rate basis, or alternatively on a fixed-fee arrangement.
Covering All Types of Driving Offences
As a specialist motoring offence law firm, Kang & Co specialises in defending clients for every kind of driving offence. One of the most common offences we are appointed on is Speeding.
Being caught Speeding could potentially result in an outright disqualification, or a totting up disqualification. A charge of this type should be taken seriously, and expert legal advice should be sought as soon as possible. In preparing a case, each aspect of the evidence should be considered by an expert in their field. This would be to identify any weaknesses that may be present in the prosecution case, and also whether we believe a robust defence is available.
In certain circumstances, it will be appropriate to make an exceptional hardship application. Kang & Co Solicitors have expert practitioners with considerable experience in defending cases of speeding offences throughout the country. From our offices in Birmingham, Milton Keynes and London, we offer full country coverage for all motoring offences.

Excellent service. They explained the process and the options clearly. I got a 28 day driving ban instead of an expected 6 months totting up ban. The pricing was transparent and communication was good and easy. David
Just wanted to drop you a line to say a huge thank you to both yourself (Manjinder Kang) and Mr. Shoker for a great result today in court.
Mr. Shoker was fantastic and presented my case in a no nonsense manner that enabled the magistrates to truly understand my position, and deal accordingly. Paul Thomas

When to Arrive at Court
The Court Summons or Postal Requisition you have received will have a start time, this will be a 10am or 2pm start time. We recommend that you arrive 45 minutes before the time listed on The Court Summons or Postal Requisition. If you have been given a 10am time, we recommend arriving at Court just after 9am, it is also important to note that most Magistrates’ Courts open at 9am therefore, it is not necessary to attend before 9am. It is important that you are not late, therefore we recommend that you factor in unexpected traffic delays, road closures and travel disruptions into your travel time.
