Agreed Fixed Fees
We seek to be open and transparent with our clients from the outset and for that reason, where possible we prefer to work on an ‘agreed fee’ basis. This is a fee set from the outset, paid at the start of the case and covers the case up to a certain stage. For example, the Police Interview or the first Court Hearing.
The agreed fee up to the First Court Hearing differs from each case, as each case depends on its own facts. An agreed fee is always set at an appropriate level having considered the type of case and the time / work involved to prepare and advance the case. Our agreed fees typically start from £500 + VAT + disbursements.
This means that we would prepare the case and represent our client for the agreed fee, even if we spend more time than initially anticipated. As an example, we may estimate that 10 hours of time is required on a case and set an appropriate agreed fee. Other issues may arise resulting in us dedicating 13 hours of time to the case. As our client has entered an agreed fee arrangement, we would not charge for the additional 3 hours of time.

“I am extremely grateful that I decided to go with Kang & Co Solicitors. Mr Manjinder Kang himself handled my case and from the first call to the very end, he has been extremely helpful and professional. His approach to any case is clarity and honesty, something that I greatly respect him for. Additionally, he is very knowledgeable in his field while being able to explain complex legal systems in a “normal” way so that you are able to understand it. This combination works extremely well and allows you, as his client, to feel relaxed and relieved knowing that he is handling the case.
To sum it up, I would highly recommend Kang & Co Solicitors, their services may cost a little more than other solicitors in this field, but their work ethic and services is worth every penny. Even though my case was probably one of the simple ones he’s handled, you are still made to feel like you are top priority, something that might not always be the case elsewhere.” – N. Shakya (Speeding)
“Kang & Co Solicitors are very efficient and punctual. They went out their way with their services. My friend recommended them, and I will indeed do the same. Excellent quality. Anything I didn’t understand was explained to me. They went out of their way with very short notice for the work I required.” – S. Singh (Failing to Provide Specimen)
“I was being investigated for a very serious motoring offence and initially had a lawyer appointed by my insurance company. I wasn’t impressed with the service from my insurance solicitors and therefore began to look for a specialist motoring law solicitor to represent me, as my liberty was at risk. When I spoke with Manjinder Kang, it was clear that he had significant previous experience of dealing with very serious motoring law cases like the one I was being investigated for. I instructed Mr Kang to represent me through my insurance company and within a few days he managed to get the case against me dropped. I would certainly recommend Mr Kang if you are being prosecuted for a very serious motoring offence.” – Harpreet (Death by Careless Driving)
“You will get that extra attention to detail and service like no other firm. The best up and coming law firm in the Midlands.” – P. Jundu (Failing to Provide Driver Details)
